Battle of BC and the Galint Team

Battle of BC is Canada's premier fighting game event, bringing together players, fans, creators, and industry professionals from around the world for a weekend of competition, community, and entertainment.

Founded in 2016, Battle of BC has grown from a grassroots tournament into one of Canada's largest gaming events. Hosted annually in Vancouver, the event features world-class competition, community activities, exhibitors, cosplay, live entertainment, and opportunities to connect with fellow gaming enthusiasts.

More Than a Tournament

Battle of BC is designed to offer something for everyone.

Whether you're competing on the main stage, cheering from the crowd, exploring exhibitor booths, meeting creators, participating in side events, or attending industry programming, the event celebrates every part of gaming culture.

From first-time spectators to veteran competitors, Battle of BC welcomes attendees of all backgrounds and experience levels.

A Community-Driven Experience

What makes Battle of BC special is its community.

Built by passionate members of the fighting game community, the event continues to grow through the support of players, volunteers, creators, partners, and fans who help make each year unforgettable.

Our goal is simple: create a world-class event that brings people together through competition, shared experiences, and a love of gaming.

Battle of BC takes place on the ancestral, unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples. We gratefully acknowledge and appreciate the privilege to operate on these lands, and we recognize the enduring presence and stewardship of these peoples.
